The monthly levy for a Foreign Domestic Worker (FDW) is $300. For employers who meet the criteria listed in this link, they will be paying the concession levy of $60 per month: Levy concession for a migrant domestic worker (MDW).For additional MDWs, the monthly levy is $450. The levy must be paid monthly by the employer in the form of GIRO payments. If the employer doesn't have a valid GIRO account, the maid's work permit will be canceled.

Employers must fulfill the following criteria before they can proceed to apply for additional maid:
Residing in a 4 room flat or above; and
Employer with at least 2 children under the age of 18; or
Employers with 2 elderly above the age of 60; or
Employer with 1 child under the age of 16 and 1 elderly above the age of 60 having the same residential address
